As a Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Goa Shipyard Limited has played a significant role in the specialized field of ship building, contributing in no small measure towards meeting the requirements of the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard for sturdy and dependable vessels that would effectively guard the nation’s territorial waters.It now looks back on an eventful 56 years of over two hundred Ships constructed that encompass a range of sophisticated and diverse classes of vessels and over a hundred GRP Fast Interceptor Boats. B & ng a customer oriented company continuously looks ahead, seeking to assess and fulfill the future requirements of its customers. 2024-25 & 2025-26 (As of 31 July 2025) : Delivered the 1st LPG Cylinder Carrier Vessel (Yard 1261) to the Union Territory of Lakshadweep Administration on July 19, 2024.

2023 – 24 : Delivered a Damage Control Simulator (Yard 1269) to the Indian Navy at Port Blair on August 18, 2023, ahead of schedule.

2022 – 23 : Delivered the 2nd specialized high-altitude Army boat (prototype) at Pangong Lake on October 30, 2022

2021 – 22 : Delivered the 1st specialized high-altitude Army boat (prototype) at Pangong Lake on November 2, 2021.

2020 – 21 : Held e-flag off ceremony for UPRNN Ferry (Yard 1260) by Shri Raj Kumar, IAS, Secretary (Defence Production) on November 23, 2020; ferry was delivered at Varanasi by end of January 2021.

2019 – 20 : Launched CG Offshore Patrol Vessel (Yard 1234) on May 25, 2019

2018 – 19 : Delivered one 105-meter Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) to the Sri Lanka Navy, along with two 1000-ton Fuel Barges and one Nuclear Biological & Chemical Training Facility (NBCTF) to the Indian Navy.

2017 – 18 : Delivered the 5th and 6th CG Offshore Patrol Vessels (CGOPVs) on July 7, 2017 and November 4, 2017, respectively.

2016 – 17 : Delivered two 105-meter Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) to the Indian Coast Guard ahead of the contractual schedule.

2015 – 16 : Delivered one 105-meter Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) to the Indian Coast Guard.

2014 – 15 : Delivered one Naval Offshore Patrol Vessel (NOPV) to the Indian Navy.
